Blog Post #8 Arthur Christmas

Arthur Christmas

I don't think that every child expects because either they are poor and their parents can't afford presents or they are from a different religion. The present the little girl wanted was a pink bicycle and she was confident that she was gonna get it because she believed in Santa. The difference between the different ''Santas" are that Arthur is very festive about Christmas, GrandSanta is very goofy and crazy, Santa is very nice and calm, and Steve is very bossy and vigilant. I prefer GrandSanta because of his personality. It was important to children to not see Santa because parents say that if you see Santa, he will disappear forever, and parents say that so the children don't figure out that Santa doesn't exist. I have never seen Santa but my recreation was that he was a fat, old man that sneaks into houses to eat cookies and milk and leave presents to the people that leaves him cookies and milk.

Adventures in babysitting

This movie is about a girl that has to babysit, but when they went to get ice cream, they get into a lot of mischief on the street. The scene that has most value is when they get in a place where there are a lot of car dealers and criminals. The director's message is to be careful on the streets. The goal is to show the dangers that there are on  the streets. My first was that the movie was not gonna be a movie that I would be interested in. What I was impressed most of is when the little girl was on the windows of the building.
